Aurora Chamber Orchestra performs Debussy's La Mer alongside the world premiere of Nocturnes boréales, a new commission weaving field recordings of Georgian Bay freighters, northern trainlines and dawn fish markets into a full orchestral score.
Conducted by music director Elias Grimsrud, with a pre-concert talk 45 minutes before each performance.
