National Arts Centre announces open call for experimental works

The National Arts Centre in Ottawa has opened its annual call for proposals for experimental performance.

Selected projects receive production support, a two-week residency in the Azrieli Studio, and a grant of up to $50,000. Priority is given to works that cross disciplines — theatre, dance, music, media art — or that reimagine audience participation, and to projects presented in both official languages.

Deadline for first-round submissions is the end of next month. Full guidelines are available on the NAC website.
