Paper Moon Machines

Part installation, part performance: audiences wander a warehouse of kinetic paper sculptures that respond to breath and heartbeat.
For 70 minutes, the Crowsnest becomes a forest of machines built from birch paper, wire and light.
Wearing small heartbeat sensors, audience members drift freely through the space as the sculptures fold, unfurl and sing in response. Two performers guide the flock — sometimes dancers, sometimes machinists, sometimes ghosts.
Capacity is strictly limited to 40 per session. Latecomers cannot be admitted.
